Steve Ewels and his company, One Stop Halal, should rightly be condemned as disgusting, cynical and morally bankrupt for building a business on the back of animals suffering and helping to push the Islamification of our food industry onto the non-muslim general public.
Halal meat processor On Stop Halal has oopened a 200,000sq ft facility to service growing demand from its retail and foodservice customer base.
The food park, in Stowmarket, Suffolk, is on the site of the former 2 Sisters Haughley Park plant, which closed in November 2013. Opening the site would "take One Stop Halal to the next level" said founder Steve Ewels.
Ewels, a former Tesco ethnic foods buyer, founded One Stopo Halal last December with a slaughter opoeration in Scotland. He formed a joint venture in April with chilled halal food brand Shazans, which sells primary Chicken, Lamb and Beef cuts in addition to added-value meats such as marinated Chicken pieces, Lamb kebabs and Sausages.
This is a prime example of people jumping on the "halal bandwagon" for the sake of greed and profits. What this man, Steve Ewels, is doing has nothing what so ever to do with religion and everything to do with ignoring the animal wellfare laws that we in the UK used to be proud of, under the guise of religious slaughter, just to put money in his own pockets.
