MacDonalds claim that none of thier meat is halal certified but this does not mean it was not slaughtered using halal methods. In the UK MacDonalds chicken supplier is listed as being Sun Valley Poultry which if you google it shows the company is part of a larger global firm called Cargill. Cargill were given the award of "Company of the Year" by The Islamic Food and Nutrition Council of America for its global halal programs. It is almost certain therefore that although not certified as halal, MacDonalds chicken products are halal. Also MacDonalds buy thier beef products in the UK from 14 different slaughterhouses and as most slaughterhouses in the UK are now halal it is reasonable to assume that so is some of the beef MacDonalds sells.
